I am an independent artisan who has been working with all sorts of media for most of my life. I am inspired by nature and for the past 15 years I have been drawn to working with florals.
Each of my pieces is individual and one of a kind. Each wreath takes between 1-4 hours to create depending on the size and materials being used. Every single stem is cut by hand, shaped, attached and arranged until I am satisfied with the result.
Because wreaths tend to be put on display during special holidays and family gatherings, I feel that in a tiny way I get to be a part of these special times. I know that some of my creations have been on dining tables during Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, on front doors as guests are greeted, in the front of churches for weddings and funerals, and laid on headstones to mark the passing of a loved one. I love creating and find a lot of joy in knowing that others enjoy my work.
